The day started with J.C. meeting me at Dave’s house. It was a good couple of nights rest there. Thank you Dave!!! I got enough rest to energize me and rejuvenate my body. I only wish Dave could have been here to run with us.
Today was pretty awesome. My friend Mike and his son Peyton came out to join us on the road for a little bit. Peyton is 6yrs old and he did a quarter of a mile with us. Mike did three and a half miles and finished very strong. In case anyone was wondering my blister was fine but, I think the grip tape cut the top of my foot. It’s nothing I haven’t experienced before though. J.C. was able to power through most of the day and my mom decided to surprise me by running with me for the last mile and a half. I thought I my energy was spent but the sour patch kids brought me back to life. I actually wanted to try and get ahead of schedule but we ended up grabbing a bite first. After sitting and having a big plate of fried rice, the legs were done. I am now at another friends place and ready to get some sleep so I can get up early and try to power through tomorrow.
