I think mothers should be celebrated more than once a year. It is a tough job and we wouldn’t be here without them. At times they can be strict and their opinions are the law but, it all comes from love. I get my best traits from my mother. I watched her sacrifice to give me opportunities. I remember the many times when she gave me her food when she was hungry. Really it’s impossible to ever repay a mother. Think about the many times they take care of us when we are sick. I know I will achieve anything I want because of my mother.
Obviously yesterday was pretty horrible. So today, my mom spent most of the day recovering and healing. I was able to try and take care of her for once. I know I’ll never do as good a job as her but we did have a nice time. And we talked. It was nice to really talk to her again. I’ve been in high gear for so many days and weeks. Perhaps this accident was the world’s way of getting us to spend a nice day together.
