Day 367 and 368 Beach ND. to Glendive MT. – 44 miles

9/12/2015

20150911_110151The two beagles played with me and Crystal as we loaded the trailer. We said our good-byes to Jane and Richard before heading for the border of North Dakota and Montana. First we donated a set of books to the local school on behalf of Capstone publishing. We gave the little school a two books for every grade. The principal gave me plenty of encouragement. It was plenty of fuel for my easy day. Despite rising early, Crystal and I somehow managed to use up all the time in the morning. Each time I looked at the clock another hour had passed. At noon time, we thanked Darren for the wonderful room and we headed out. With plenty of sunlight left in the day the running was delayed even more. We stopped into a community center and waited for the staff to return. We figured we would see if they had spare food in their pantry.

20150908_135103Around 1:30 Crystal contacted Kevin at Upin Thai. We couldn’t believe we found a Thai restaurant in the area...
