Day 127 Destin to South Walton Florida – 22 Miles

1/5/2014

IMG_0721Swirling winds howled through the night. The powerful gusts rocked the trailer side to side like a baby’s crib. The swaying motion and warm covers sedated me. My heavy eyelids overpowered my eyes and knocked me into a peaceful dream world.

The cold temperatures of the rest of the country danced in my mind as I bathed in the light. I figured my turn had come for a nice running day. For my warm up, I perused the stalls of the downtown farmer’s market.
