The next stage Day 1

9/6/2011

Sorry I went missing for a while. I’ve been decompressing a bit longer than I anticipated. Adjusting myself to the real world has not been easy. Suddenly I have so many responsibilities. A lot of work has piled up while I was on the road. But, I’m not going to freak out. I’ll just chop it down one day at a time. It’s the same philosophy that carried me across a country. All plans were put on hold as I’d be spending another day in the wild town of Tucumcari NM. Luckily I ran an easy eight miles this morning and I didn’t feel too bad. Running to New York might have been tough but at least I didn’t worry about breaking down. I guess I’ll make the most of it and catch up on some more sleep.
