Day 96 Marshfield to Lebanon MO. 28 miles

The past week seemed to pass so slowly. Lots of waiting around in hospitals, long drives in cars, and paperwork did it’s best to wear me down. It was torture. I felt like I was growing lazier by the day. But, all things come to pass and I found myself taking care of the last bit of busywork in Sprinfield. I took the blue Kia van back to the rental company at the airport and called a cab to drop me off at Marshfield. The plan was to start running the next morning.

Passing the exact location of the accident was wierd. There were still little traces of the accident that occured. That, coupled with the fact that I couldn’t find an hotel to accomodate me left me with one option. You guessed it...

Day 94 Heading back to the voyage

If there is on thing I hate, it’s unfinished business. We go through trials and tribulations to test our resolve. But, there is more than resolve being tested here. My body and my spirit have been pushed and now I’m pushing back. I apologize to my readers out there. I know I haven’t given you the content to which you’ve become accustomed. Usually I think excuses are weak but I’ve got one at the moment. I have been pulled in a million directions. The accident has put quite a lot of work in front of me. I promise this lapse is but a minor bump. If I can keep getting back on the horse that bucks me I will eventually tame it. Strong mind = Strong body = Strong spirit. That’s my blueprint!
