Day 150 White House 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Washington, D.C. 0 miles

I spent the day preparing to go to the White House. I think it was more exhausting than running. Perhaps it’s because I’m a typical guy and I don’t really enjoy shopping all that much. I must admit, I was feeling excited to see my old friend Sunny. It’s been well over a decade since we’ve last seen each other. Day 148 Bedford to McConnelsburg 34 miles

We’re not there yet though. So, I had better put the cork back on the champagne bottle, bear down and stay focused. It’s always when people are about to reach their goals that they let something slip. I’ve never been one to choke though. I love the fourth quarter. The final minutes are always the most exciting.

Today’s run was hot. It was another late start. It’s the last full day in Pennsylvania. Tomorrow I cross into Maryland...
